Ed's Granddaughter Working with United Way Event

"I have taken on head chairman for this great project for United Way to be held at the Washington Waterfront on Aug. 15-17. We are excited, as this event has grown so fast!
Each participate will receive a treasure map. That participate will have the option to travel in their car or boat to each X on the map. Each of those X's will have many vendors that will include food, refreshments and shopping. Once that participate completes their map, they must turn them on Sunday the 17th with the required stamps. That map will be eligible for many prizes and the cash Grand prize of $5,000!
Each map is only $20.00 and a family or group can share. The last day of the event (Sunday) will be full of fun and entertainment. So far we have planned: A Live Band, Boat Show, and a Pageant. Because this is very new we are still in the process of adding events.
All proceeds will go to United Way! Meaning it will go back into our community. This is great for boaters because each stop will be located on the water and easily accessible by vehicles as well. Jet ski clubs, and motorcycle clubs will be both be able to attain. I hope you can attend and invite your friends."
Thanks, Priscilla James
