Hi all – here are some updated photos of the boys, including a trip to the zoo (which included a petting zoo with goats) and an outing at a local park. Also, both boys have learned to drink the leftover milk from their cereal bowl. Quite a milestone, I think you’ll agree. J Enjoy,

Our friend, Jerry Mizell, from Pactolus was affected by the tornados that passed though eastern North Carolina on Sunday night. His barn in the back yard was damaged, as was his house. Many friends and neighbors have been helping with the effort to clean up and get things back to normal. Our thoughts are with Jerry and Vickie.

Our First Few Days in SugarLoaf Key

We arrived safely on Thursday around lunch, got checked in and spent the day relaxing. Ed drove each day. ( I think he was afraid of my driving.) He told me once we rented a car in Key West, it was my turn to drive, so that was fine with me . . . . .
We had lunch at the Sunset Pier yesterday, next to Mallory Square in Key West. This is where the big cruise ships dock. There were a couple of big ones in port on Friday.
This morning we got up and where did we go???? The flea market, of course. They have a great market here on Big Pine Key, about 20 minutes from us.
I've walked around today and taken a few pictures. The pub is the building with the blue top. This is where you can play bingo, listen to the band, get a beer, etc. The other picture shows some pelicans in the mangroves at the KOA Park Marina.
