I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that Ed was released from the hospital on August 28, Thursday before Labor Day. He is improving every day. Ed still has a chest tube with a valve. Our next doctor's appointment is Thursday of this week, so maybe we will have an idea of how long he will be required to keep the chest tube.
We would like to thank everyone for their many acts of kindness during Ed's illness. The things, no matter how small, that family and friends say and do mean so much at times like these. Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
